Hey friend! I'm back with Art Letters after a 2 month break! And you know what I did in those two months? I gave away my paints!
Well, obviously not all of them :)
I am a self-diagnosed art supplies hoarder, and at the same time don't like my home cluttered. You see my problem? So this past weekend, I picked out all the huge tubes of paints that I had bought but not used more than twice, you know, the colours that look good in tubes but you don't know what to do with them on the canvas? And I gave them away.
The only way to waste Art supplies is by not using them. Hopefully now someone is letting those tubes of paint live their purpose! I still have varnishes, jars of gessos and more paints that I know I will never get to. What do you think I should do with them?
Here are some updates:
WHAT I'M READING: 📚
Show Your Work by Austin Kleon: A long overdue read, and it is inspiring me to stop blaming the algorithm and give Instagram one more chance.
WHAT I'M WATCHING: 📺
I'm going through a phase of childhood nostalgia by watching One Tree Hill again. (Okay, you can stop cringing now!)
WHAT I'M CREATING: 🎨
Well, art is slow right now, but I'm busy planning my little one's second birthday party! (How is she 2 already!?!)
